When I graduated from dental school in 1991, I was lucky to fulfill my desire to own my own practice. It's been my privilege to serve the community of New Providence and Berkeley Heights for the past 31+ years.
Now, after much careful thought and consideration, I have made the bittersweet decision to retire from dental medicine. Patient trust and loyalty have meant a great deal to me and my highest priority has always been to ensure patients receive the best possible care. Dr. Obour's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The College of New Jersey and a Master of Biomedical Science from Rutgers biomedical and Health Sciences. Dr. Obour spent a year as an associate scientist at Pfizer in Pearl River, NY prior to his departure for dental school. He completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where he honed his skills and gained valuable experience in all aspects of general dentistry. Dr Obour is a proud member of the Academy of General Dentistry, New Jersey Dental Association and American Dental Association, where he continues to stay abreast of the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques.
Dr. Obour has treated patients all over New Jersey, providing exemplary care in the private practice setting.With his dedication to patient care and commitment to excellence, Dr. Obour looks forward to serving the dental needs of individuals and families in our community for years to come.
